Zadie McDowell helps Gibson Sheat meet its AML obligations and keep client onboarding running smoothly. She works closely with Gibson Sheat’s AML Compliance Partner, Rhys Williams to support identity verification, onboarding processes, and legal compliance under the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act.
Zadie coordinates the use of First AML, the secure third-party platform we use to collect and verify client information. She ensures all information aligns with our internal systems and legal duties, making the process as simple and efficient as possible for both clients and staff.
Zadie has supported Gibson Sheat in a wide range of roles over the years, from reception and archiving to administration and office moves. Her adaptability, initiative and positive attitude have made her a valued and trusted member of the team.
She is currently studying toward a law degree and has held university tutoring roles, balancing academic life with practical experience.
Outside of work and study, Zadie enjoys staying active and spending time with friends and family.
