Storm McKenna

Storm McKenna works in both the Trust and Commercial teams where she supports clients in the management and administration of both trust and commercial matters.

Working across both private client and corporate sectors, Storm assists with the formation, maintenance and day to day administration of trusts. In the commercial space, she helps businesses and organisations make smart decisions, manage risk and achieve growth. She advises on franchising, business structuring, finance arrangements, commercial contracts and shareholder matters. Her commercial clients include franchise owners and buyers, SMEs and not-for-profits.

Clients value Storm’s responsiveness, attention to detail and ability to explain complex legal concepts in plain language.

Storm began her career in Gibson Sheat’s Wairarapa office and quickly established herself as a commercially minded, client-focused lawyer. Now a Senior Solicitor based in Wellington, she plays a key role in the firm’s trust and commercial team. Her advice is clear, practical and grounded in a strong understanding of how businesses operate.

Outside of work, Storm enjoys staying active and spending time with friends and family. Storm is one of several staff members who regularly donates Plasma with NZ Blood. She loves to travel and has explored parts of the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Japan. She’s also an impressive baker, often bringing treats that brighten the Wellington office.
