Sophie Pritchard
Sophie helps clients in Kāpiti and Wellington with business and property law.
Sophie Pritchard helps businesses, property owners and individuals across the Kāpiti Coast and Wellington region navigate commercial and residential property transactions with confidence. She advises on sales and purchases, commercial leasing and finance arrangements, including extensive experience in mortgage recovery, acting for banks and financial institutions.
Clients value Sophie for her ability to cut through complexity and offer practical, well-reasoned guidance. Her calm considered approach draws on years of experience advising on high-pressure transactions and enforcement matters. She brings sound judgement, clear communication and a genuine focus on achieving the best outcome for each client.
Sophie first joined Gibson Sheat in 2009, working in the Commercial and Property team for seven years with a strong focus on mortgagee sales and enforcement. After a break to raise her family, she returned in 2024 with a renewed perspective and continued commitment to practical, client-focused advice. Based in Te Horo, she supports clients throughout Kāpiti, including Waikanae, Otaki and Paraparaumu.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys life in Te Horo with her young family. She’s passionate about health and wellbeing and holds a qualification in functional nutrition, which gives her a balanced, people-first perspective on life and work.
