Richard Szabo helps Gibson Sheat stay secure, connected and technologically effective. As IT Manager, he leads the firm’s information technology function across all offices, working closely with Partners, management, staff and external providers to align systems with Gibson Sheat’s long-term goals and strategic direction.
Known for his calm, solution-focused approach, Richard is highly respected for his practical expertise, reliability and commitment. He often puts in extra time to ensure everything works seamlessly for staff and clients.
Since joining the firm in 1997, Richard has overseen the implementation and operation of key platforms including the practice and document management systems. He manages staff support through a third-party helpdesk and plays a central role in planning, improving and maintaining the systems that keep Gibson Sheat running.
Outside of work, Richard enjoys playing in a band, taking his Silvia for a drive, living by the beach and spending time with family and friends.
