Rebecca McDowell helps keep Gibson Sheat’s Wellington office running smoothly. As Office Manager, she oversees reception, facilities, staff and office moves, supplies and firm-wide initiatives such as archiving and office fitouts. She also coordinates Gibson Sheat’s health and safety team, helping ensure a safe and supportive environment across all our offices.
Rebecca is known for her planning skills, practical problem-solving and calm presence under pressure. She takes pride in helping others succeed and keeping everything on track behind the scenes.
Since joining the firm in 2009 as an Administration Assistant, Rebecca has steadily taken on more responsibility, becoming Office Manager in 2012. She plays a central role in making sure systems, spaces and people work seamlessly together. Her earlier career in banking gave her a strong foundation in communication, organisation and service delivery.
Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, cooking, walking and spending time with her family and two cats.
