Katelyn George helps people across the Wairarapa plan for the future and navigate some of life’s hardest moments. As part of Gibson Sheat’s Life Planning, Estates & Senior Law team, Katelyn specialises in wills, enduring powers of attorney and estate administration. Whether she’s helping someone get their affairs in order or guiding a family after the loss of a loved one, she brings kindness, patience and a clear sense of what’s important.

Clients appreciate her warm, approachable manner and her steady, practical support. She takes time to understand each person’s situation and works hard to make the legal process clear and manageable.

Katelyn began her legal career in 2016 at a local Wairarapa firm and holds a New Zealand Law Society Legal Executive Diploma. After stepping away to raise her children, Fergus and Georgie, she returned to practice in 2024 with a deeper appreciation for how unpredictable life can be and how valuable good support is when big decisions need to be made.

Outside of work, Katelyn enjoys time with her children, catching up with friends and embracing the lively rhythm of family life.
