Anushka Sequeira

Anushka Sequeira advises on residential conveyancing, refinancing, trust administration, and trust related property matters. She works with individuals, families, and property owners on property transactions and trust arrangements.

Clients value Anushka’s calm approachable manner and the care she takes to guide them through each step of the process. She takes the time to understand what her clients are trying to achieve and provides advice that is clear, practical, and well considered.

Anushka began her legal career in Auckland, working at a small law firm where she advised on property and trust matters across a broad range of private client work. She also tutored law at the University of Auckland. she recently relocated to Wellington to join Gibson Sheat’s Property and Trusts team.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Spanish from the University of Auckland and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2023. Earlier in her career, she spent time living and working in South America, including roles as an English language teaching assistant in Argentina and Ecuador, and completing an internship in Colombia during university.

Outside of work, Anushka enjoys reading, learning new languages, trying new hobbies, and spending time with friends and family.
